The application is a completely rebuilt application with integrations with the holy book.org website and enhanced holy book references.
Version 3.2 includes the ability to select a passage from the Bible and copy it for use in other applications or documents. It has improved audio handling, and if the playback of a recording or video is partially stopped, the app remembers where it was stopped and allows playback to be restarted from that point. Various other improvements and bug fixes are also included.
This app helps Turkish speakers know and study more about the Bible. It offers texts of the Old and New Testament (Torah Psalms Bible) with variable font size and close links to cross-references, In addition, audio recordings for all new testament chapters, and visual videos of the first four books of the new testament can be viewed next to the text. The app allows users to explore what the Bible has to say about various topics and reviews of articles on the holy book.org site. The application supports both light and dark screen settings.
When we think of the Holy Books of Jews and Christians in Turkey, we categorize them as Torah, Psalms and Bible. However, this categorization is incomplete if not incorrect. The Bible consists of 66 books, including the Torah, Psalms, and the Bible. You can see the full categories below.
Old Agreement:
Books of Law: Consists of 5 books written by Moses. These books are called Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Census, and Deuteronomy. In our country, all of these books are called the Torah.
History Books: History Books talk about the History of Israel and the relationship between God's people and God. These books consist of 12 books: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther.
Literary Books: There are more poetic expressions in literary books. Job consists of the books Psalms (Psalms), Proverbs of Solomon, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomons. Except for the book of Job, 4 books were written by David and Solomon.
Long Prophecy Books: Prophecy books are divided into two as long and short. The long prophetic books consist of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel.
Short Prophecies: The short prophetic books consist of Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Hagai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
New Covenant (Bible):
Gospel Books: Contains four gospel books describing the life of Jesus Christ. These books are named after their authors: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Acts: The book of Acts talks about the experiences of early Christians after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Letters: It consists of letters written by the apostles to the early churches.
Revelation: The book of inspiration and prophecy written by John.
