About this app

"My Dates" is designed to store the dates of important events.

With the app, you can easily find the date of birth of your loved ones and friends, track their age, and receive notifications about events.
You can also add the date of any other event - for example, an anniversary.

You can import dates from your contacts app or add them manually.

Because all your events are only stored on your device, it will be useful to periodically save a backup copy using the "Export to csv" function.
This function can also be used when changing devices. To load data from a backup, use the "Import from csv" function.
There is currently no check for duplicates upon import. All events from the file will be added to the application.

The app will be updated in the future to be more convenient to use.

Ratings and reviews

It's better than most, but: It rounds up to months, so if a birthday is in 38 days, it tells me it's in two months. Really want days instead, plus this is just misleading. The feature to only show events in a single month means that you can't actually see what's coming up if it crosses a month boundary. For my use case, this is an anti feature. Just want to see upcoming birthdays from soonest to farthest off. I understand that someone using this to track hundreds of events may want this.

I really like this app but I'd like to change one thing. I'd prefer it to be in one list rather than months. That's all though. It reminds me exactly when and how I'd like it to and it's easy to use.

Nov2025: So close! Requests: please let EMOJIS work as tag icons (been using them w/Ancestry's matches); make an ALL ENTRIES section that's chronological by full date; if events could be like (YEAR ▪︎ Mth DD ▪︎ Type) on a single top line & name below; also if notes could be seen in list view? EDIT! (see history) Bonus: make "time since" customizable, I like "will be 23yrs old" (or "45yrs young" haha) for bdays, "will be 16yrs gone" for deathdays, "will be 7yrs since" for anniversaries, etc. Thx!
