App is fine. Smart home integration is TEREIBLE! The lock itself seems to be high quality and works pretty well. The Kwikset app works pretty well for basic use, but it often hangs when trying to update settings on the Lock. Google Home and Alexa worked with the lock for about 3 lock/unlock cycles and then it quit. Google home wouldn't even work until I factory reset the lock and set it up again. Now, it says "Something Went Wrong". All and all a very disappointing experience.

Hello Isaac, To get the app in working order with the Halo lock, perform a factory reset on the lock and remove the lock from your phone Bluetooth list. Looks like the system can't handle two devices with same account. Only one device (one used with Bluetooth pair) shows access codes. It's almost like the access codes are stored on the phones and not the lock themselves. Totally useless except for remote lock and unlock. The reply says that each app user needs a unique account. It is bad design. Please improve -- people have more than 1 phone.

This is really a disaster. First of all, there is no capability to change the wifi network after lock is activated, so you need to go through the factory reset process resulting in the list of all existing codes etc. Second, the pairing proccess is a disaster by itself, app stuck in the different phases with no forward progress. I don't know what these folks think about it, but I'm going to remove this lock and forget it as a nightmare.
