About this app

Whispia Knowledge is built around courses you listen to. The school catalogue is inspired by school topics and organized by level, from CP to 3e — primaire through collège. Its lessons are written and narrated in French, not English. Open a level, choose a course, and work through it one lesson at a time. What you listen to fills in a constellation as you go.

In English, name any subject at all and Whispia writes an explanation of it and reads it to you.

WHAT YOU GET

A French-language school catalogue
Whispia School is a curated catalogue of audio lessons inspired by school topics, organized by level from CP to 3e, primaire through collège. Subjects vary by level and include French, maths, history, geography, science and civics. Every lesson in this catalogue is written and narrated in French, not English.

Whispia Open Learning
Audio lessons and learning paths for adults and older teens, in English and in French: history, the science of everyday life, psychology and many more subjects.

My constellation of knowledge
What gets listened to fills in a constellation over time, alongside a calendar view and a family view.

Learner profiles
Optional profiles the account holder manages, so a household can keep each listener's progress separate. A profile stores a display name or nickname, an age band and an avatar — nothing else.

A parental gate
The family view, learner profiles and storage management sit behind a parental gate.

Go deeper
Any lesson you can listen to can be extended into a longer, more detailed explanation of its own. Like any explanation you request, it draws on tokens.

Ask about anything, in English
Something from the news, a half-remembered idea from school, a question raised at dinner — name it and Whispia writes an explanation and reads it to you. Explanations are grounded in trusted educational sources and fact-checked against reputable references. You set the length and choose the narrator.

Queue a course
Line up a course's lessons to play in order, and keep the ones worth coming back to.

PLANS

Whispia Knowledge is free to download. A free account can browse the whole catalogue — course titles, objectives and levels. Lesson audio is part of the Knowledge plan. Writing your own explanations draws on the tokens included with your account.
