About this app

Print and project PDF and SVG sewing patterns from your phone or tablet.

Sewsy gives you practical tools for preparing, printing, projecting, and cutting digital sewing patterns.

PROJECT SEWING PATTERNS
• Open PDF and SVG sewing pattern files
• Project patterns directly onto your work surface
• Choose which layers to project — select just your size or all sizes
• Calibrate using a cutting mat for precise alignment or measuring tape to project onto fabric, floors, and larger spaces
• Move projected patterns by exact measurements for fine-tuned placement
• Rotate the pattern and flip pattern pieces along fold lines
• Adjust line color and weight for better visibility
• Zoom freely with pinch-to-zoom, fit-to-screen, and preset zoom levels
• Navigate large patterns with the integrated minimap
• Track cut pieces with checkmarks as you work
• Calibration and pattern settings are saved so you can resume where you left off

PRINT SEWING PATTERNS
• Choose the pattern layers you need before printing
• Hide or show pages
• Export print files for home printing or copy shop use
• Calibrate your printer so patterns print at the correct size
• Once calibration is saved, you don’t need to repeat it unless you change printers or settings

RECENT PATTERNS
• Quickly reopen your 10 most recent sewing patterns
• Add print-at-home, projector PDF, and SVG pattern files

Sewsy is built for sewists who use digital patterns and want practical tools for printing, projecting, and cutting.

What’s new

This update includes a few improvements and fixes for projecting patterns:

- The minimap now works correctly at all zoom levels, not just 100%.
- When using tape measurement calibration, there’s now an extra step to confirm your calibration looks correct before saving.
- You can now rotate patterns by any amount.
- A few behind-the-scenes improvements and warning fixes to keep things running smoothly.
