Blast Waves is a tactical arcade shooter where time only moves as you move, and every shot counts.

Play through the rogue-like Survival Mode as a fresh recruit. Rapidly gain new weapons and abilities while trying to make it through an intergalactic conflict.

Most troopers won't make it. The few that do survive become permanently playable as clone squad commanders. In the auto battler-like Command Mode, players build and organize squads while fighting to last as long as possible against overwhelming odds.

Can't WAIT to dig into this one. Immortal Rogue was amazing. Will update thoughts after some play time. Update: WOW. So, initially I was kinda frustrated, but once I started grasping the overall mechanics....oh im REALLY excited to dig further into the game now. I would only say that maybe the movement and controls could be better refined. The gameplay progression and rewards system though is ADDICTIVE. ***OMG another update!! Game's not dead!

Pretty fun and great music but the UI is pretty bad. The inability to command squad members in command mode from the zoomed out tactical map makes it feel incredibly cheap when you loose to a misdrag and move the wrong unit out of place because there is no barrier between selecting them and getting the movement order when they all pile up on eachother vertically.

This game lacks a lot of content like for an example: enemies, game modes, planets, and etc. What about the controls? It doesn't work properly! But oh well, i guess i should be happy this game is actually a nice time waster. I definitely want to see more updates because right now i don't think the price of this game is really worth it.
