Dripwords is a smartwatch-focused app designed to provide a viable reading experience on small screens. It allows you to dive into classic literature, catch up on articles, or even share bedtime stories—all from your wrist.

The small screen challenge is addressed by displaying one word at a time at your chosen pace, a technique inspired by speed reading.

You will start by setting a reading speed that best fits whatever your current situation is—from a leisurely stroll to a lightning-fast sprint.

All that is left to do then is to choose between two reading modes:
• Word Dripping: the text stream flows drop by drop (word by word) at your chosen speed. Proven and efficient.
• Line Scrolling: Enjoy an endless, flowing line of text that scrolls by at your chosen speed. Feels intuitive from the get-go.

That is it! Reading is turned into a hands-free, focused playback of streams of words that you can control with intuitive video-style controls and gestures to play, pause, rewind, or fast-forward.

• Bring Your Own Content. Import EPUB files from your phone or easily import anything you want to read (articles, emails, notes, quotes, mindful messages, that text you are memorizing) by sharing from your phone’s clipboard.
• The app comes preloaded with a treasure trove of public domain classics. Books: Frankenstein, Moby Dick, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and more from Project Gutenberg! Poems: The Raven, 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, and other timeless verses. Fables: A complete collection of Aesop's Fables, perfect for sharing with kids (or rediscovering yourself!).
