Builder's Labyrinth is a structured 9×9 number puzzle focused on logical placement, accuracy, and completion time.
Each round presents a partially filled 9×9 grid containing numbers from 1 to 9. The task is to complete every empty cell while following the core rules: each number from 1 to 9 must appear only once in every row, every column, and every 3×3 block.
In Builder's Labyrinth, numbers are entered manually. Select an empty cell and choose the required number. Numbers that were provided automatically at the beginning of the round cannot be selected or changed. Correctly completed cells also cannot be changed. There is no note or pencil-mark function, keeping each decision direct and final.
The game uses one difficulty level. Accuracy is limited by three available mistakes, represented by a visible lives indicator. Entering an incorrect number uses one life. The round continues while the player has available lives.
A timer tracks how long the current round takes to complete. When all cells have been filled correctly, the screen flashes green and the “WELL DONE” message appears. The completed round also displays the time taken, followed by a “PLAY AGAIN” button for starting another round.
Builder's Labyrinth keeps track of completed results. Records are saved when the recorded result is greater than zero, allowing completed rounds to remain part of the game's results history.
The structure of Builder's Labyrinth is built around a simple sequence: inspect the grid, determine the correct number for each empty cell, enter the answer, avoid mistakes, and complete the full 9×9 layout while managing the available lives and completion time.
