LACloud turns the devices you already own — your phones, tablets, and computers — into one private cloud that you control. Share files, back them up, and reach them from anywhere, without your data ever passing through someone else's servers.

Everything happens directly between your own devices. On your home or office network, transfers are fast and fully local. And when your devices are apart — traveling, at work, on mobile data — LACloud's built-in secure connection lets them find and reach each other across networks, as if they were side by side.

SECURE REMOTE ACCESS (VPN)
Reaching your devices across different networks is core to LACloud, and it's powered by a secure private tunnel. LACloud uses Android's VpnService to establish a WireGuard-encrypted connection from your device to a VPN server that YOU control — for example, your own router's WireGuard server or UniFi Teleport. Data is encrypted end to end, from your device to your endpoint.

This is not a commercial VPN. LACloud does not route, intercept, monitor, or monetize traffic from other apps; it does not change your location or hide your IP for browsing; and it collects no browsing data. The tunnel exists for one purpose: letting your own devices reach each other securely. It's optional — local file sharing and backup work without it.
