About this app

The DairyTrace mobile application is designed to facilitate the recording and reporting of events as required for this national dairy cattle traceability program in Canada, under the responsibility of Lactanet Canada. Accessible once a DairyTrace account is created in the national portal at www.portal.DairyTrace.ca, the mobile app is prepopulated with all the required information for both animals and approved identifiers/tags associated with the dairy farm. Dairy cattle farmers can then use the DairyTrace mobile app to record and report various traceability events such as tag activation/birth, move-in, move-out, export, import, on-farm disposal, etc. This app makes it easy for dairy cattle producers to be compliant with federal traceability regulations as well as dairy cattle industry requirements established through the Livestock Traceability module of the proAction Initiative of Dairy Farmers of Canada.
