Ladeway Driver is the companion app for truck drivers dispatched through Ladeway, the dispatch and tracking platform their carrier uses. It requires an existing company account: your dispatcher sets up your account and assigns your loads.
Your day, in the app:
• Today and My Loads show the loads assigned to you, each with its stops in order: location, address, scheduled time and load reference.
• Directions hands any stop's address to your phone's own maps app.
• Start trip shares your location with your own dispatcher so they can see your progress. End trip turns it off immediately, from any screen. A persistent notification shows whenever location is being shared, and nothing is ever shared outside a trip you started.
• Complete a stop with an on-screen signature, the signer's name, notes and photos, even with no signal at the dock. It saves on your phone and sends automatically once you are back in range.
• Pickup and delivery checklists keep each stop's paperwork in order.
• Optional: pair a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the truck's diagnostic port, and the app reports the odometer and engine faults to your dispatcher during a trip.
Ladeway Driver does not track hours of service and is not an electronic logging device (ELD). It is not a substitute for any HOS/ELD compliance tool your carrier may use separately.
An account from your dispatching company is required to sign in.
