Lahja helps you learn spoken Arabic the way it’s actually used in everyday life. Most Arabic learners study Modern Standard Arabic, but quickly find that it doesn’t translate well to real conversations. Arabic is spoken in distinct dialects that vary by country, and these are rarely taught in a practical way.

Lahja focuses on spoken Arabic dialects using native audio and real-life phrases. Lessons are short and designed around commonly used expressions to help you understand and speak with confidence. Instead of grammar-heavy content, Lahja prioritizes listening, repetition, and familiarity with how Arabic is spoken in daily situations.

The app is built for language learners, travelers, expats, and diaspora who want practical communication rather than textbook knowledge. This is the initial Android release, and content and features will continue to expand over time.
