About this app

Fretless is a continuous-pitch slide instrument you play
with your fingers. No frets. No keys. Just a string, your
touch, and the notes in between.

Slide your finger up and down to glide through pitch like a
fretless bass or theremin. Press up to four fingers at once
for chords and harmonies. Every subtle movement is heard —
this is an expressive instrument, not a toy.

SNAP MODE
Lock to real musical notes automatically. Great if you're
just starting out, or want to stay in tune while
experimenting.

BUILT-IN LOOPER
Record a phrase, then play live over it. Switch to 2x
playback speed to hear your loop at double tempo while you
solo on top.

4-VOICE POLYPHONY
Use up to four fingers simultaneously. Play intervals,
chords, or layered melodies.

REAL LOW-LATENCY AUDIO
Built on Android's Oboe audio engine — the same technology
used in professional music apps. What you play is what you
hear, instantly.

EXPRESSIVE TONE
A warm, buzzy, Otamatone-inspired voice with natural
vibrato. It feels alive under your fingers.
