About this app

WiFi File Transfer lets you share files between phones, tablets and computers over WiFi: no Internet, no cables, no sign-up. Send photos, videos, music, apps and large files straight from one device to another, in original quality. Your files never go through a server.

How it works
1. Open File Transfer on both devices.
2. Pick photos, videos, apps or any file.
3. Tap the device to send to and accept on the other side. Done.

Share any file
• Photos and videos in original quality, never compressed like in chat apps
• Large files: long videos, ZIP archives, backups of several GB
• Apps (APK): share the apps installed on your phone
• Music, voice recordings and contacts (vCard)
• Documents, PDFs and any other file from your storage
• Text and links, copied straight to the other device

File transfer without Internet
• Works on any home, office or public WiFi and uses no mobile data
• No WiFi in common? Nearby devices find each other over Bluetooth and the app links them with direct WiFi (Wi‑Fi Direct or a hotspot)
• Share a private WiFi from your phone; the other device joins by scanning a QR code
• Connect with a QR code or by typing an IP address

Send files from phone to PC, nothing to install
With Send via web link, a PC, laptop, Mac, iPhone or tablet on the same WiFi opens a link in its web browser, enters a 4-digit PIN and downloads your files. Handy at work, or for a friend who doesn't have the app.

Works with LocalSend
File Transfer uses the open LocalSend protocol, so you can also send files to, and receive files from, devices running LocalSend on Windows, macOS, Linux or iOS, for example from an iPhone to your Android phone. File Transfer is an independent app, not affiliated with LocalSend.

Pick your files once and share them with several phones and computers at the same time, each with its own progress bar.

Share files from any app
Tap Share in your gallery, file manager or any other app and choose File Transfer. Your files go out without opening the whole app.

Receive files your way

• Optional "Always ready to receive": get files even when the app is closed
• Full transfer history to find received files fast
• Choose the folder where received files are saved

Made for every screen
Phones, tablets and foldables, light and dark theme. The app is in English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, French, German and Chinese.

Free, with an optional Premium
Every transfer feature is free and the app shows ads. Premium (weekly, monthly, yearly or a one-time purchase) removes all ads.

Good to know: transfer speed depends on your WiFi and devices. The other device needs File Transfer or LocalSend, except when you use Send via web link.
