About this game

Ytterbium Gray is a cold atom loading arcade game. Drag the detuning and
gradient gauges to hold your magneto-optical trap inside the capture band
while atoms stream in from the beam. Push the detuning too far and atoms are
kicked out of the chamber. Crank the gradient too high and the trap heats
the cloud until trapped atoms boil away.

Trapped atoms randomly go dark. Tap REPUMP while detuning sits in the lower
half of the band to bring them back before they decay. When the clock runs
out, the lattice transfer window opens: hold both gauges inside the tighter
zone to snap atoms into lattice sites one by one.

Your star rating comes from loaded atom count and final cloud temperature.
Later chambers leak faster through background gas collisions and give you
shorter windows. Earn coins to install six permanent lab upgrades: Zeeman
slower, repump laser, low-noise coils, narrow laser, cryo vacuum, and
lattice amplifier. All sound effects are synthesized live on your device.
