DISCLAMER: La Muci's Tarot app is a (!) companion app for the Fantôme tarot deck. While users can still use certain features of the app without Fantôme tarot deck it is recommended that you have one for the best user experience. The app also requires you to have a device that supports augmented reality (Google's AR Core).

ABOUT THE APP: Besides a printed guidebook Fantôme Tarot Deck also comes with a beautifully designed multidimensional guidebook app. This augmented reality (AR) guidebook elevates the beauty of the card as well as pushes the idea of merging the reality which we live in and the expansive more energetic reality of Tarot. The guidebook app will allow you to learn more about tarot and individual tarot card meanings. The app will also help you see other things - from popular card spreads to hidden design gems. The technology behind it is based on augmented reality and it provides a one-of-a-kind experience.

Ratings and reviews

I own the Fantôme deck and this app really adds to the overall experience of using it. The app runs well overall and the AR portion has great card recognition from various angles. Improvements that would help me bump my rating: 1. That the app runs in background. Currently when I switch to another app it closes completely. 2. Deck choice doesn't save to Journal entries. It would be great if this gets fixed.

Significant improvements have been made since this first came out into the world. Great app with lots of similar aspects that pay to use apps have for: tarot journaling, learning, and overall keeping everything organized. Every now and then, there is a bug or two, but nothing major.

The app is still very new, so it is not polished just yet; however, the team that made this app, really did put out a good start to what I consider as an app with loads of potential. I could see this app becoming as handy and capable as some of the tarot apps that someone usually pays for. I would say yes to downloading this app.

* Avatar changes are now also saved in the backup if you are logged in.
* We enabled Preview Spreads for devices that don't support augmented reality.
* We improved how spreads are placed in augmented reality.
* Various smaller improvements throughout the app.
