NOTICE: "C'è Posto per Te" is an independent app. It is NOT a government app and does NOT represent any public entity: it is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, or approved by the Lombardy Region, the National Health Service, or any other institution. It is a tool that helps you consult the public booking portal, whose official address is https://www.prenotasalute.regione.lombardia.it/
Have you booked a visit or test and the first available date is in six months? It often happens that someone cancels and a spot becomes available much sooner. The problem is noticing: you would have to check the portal several times a day.
C'è Posto per Te does it for you. Enter your prescription information once, and the app automatically checks the availability published on the portal: when a date significantly closer appears, you receive a notification.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add the prescription: tax code, last five digits of your health card, and prescription number (NRE). These are the same details you would enter on the official portal.
2. Choose your interest: how many days in advance you want to be notified and within what radius from your home.
3. Let the app do the work. It checks periodically and notifies you only when there's something truly better.
When you receive the notification, the app shows you the date, facility, address, and distance, opens the map, and takes you to the official portal to book.

Availabilities are constantly changing: in case of discrepancies, only the information published on the official channels of the Lombardy Region is valid, and only the booking completed there is valid.
YOUR INFORMATION REMAINS ON YOUR PHONE
We don't have a server: there's nothing to register, no account, no email address to leave. Your tax code, card, and prescription number are stored encrypted on your device and are used only to query the official portal, just as you would from your browser.
No ads. No tracking. No usage statistics. No sharing with third parties. The app is free and will remain free.
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
It doesn't book for you: it finds the spot and directs you to the official channel, where you decide and confirm. This is a deliberate choice, as automatically booking would mean taking up spots you may not need.
It doesn't provide medical advice and doesn't replace your doctor.
It doesn't handle procedures, exemptions, or relationships with the National Health Service: for those, please contact the official channels listed above.
WHAT YOU NEED
A prescription with a prescription number (NRE) valid for the National Health Service in Lombardy. Currently, only Lombardy is supported; other regions may follow in the future.
You can manage multiple prescriptions at the same time, even for family members whose bookings you regularly manage.
ABOUT ALERTS
The app attempts to check in the background at the frequency you set, but some phones severely limit background apps to save battery life. In the settings, you'll find the status of the last check and instructions for scheduling alerts. In any case, the data is updated each time the app is opened.
