About this app

The SilverCloud location management software app will allow owners and users of the SilverCloud and SilverCloud Sync real-time GPS tracking systems, the ability to view and monitor the precise location of their assets or vehicles, whether it's a single vehicle or an entire fleet of vehicles, from anywhere conveniently from their phone.
Users will be able to monitor the speed of each vehicle and the battery life of each device simply by tapping on the vehicle icon located on the map - accurate to within 2.5 meters (6 feet) of the device. The location also updates automatically, showing the real-time GPS location of the user's vehicles.
Vehicle updates will be based on user's data plan - 3 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, or as fast as 3 second continuous updates.
Since the SilverCloud software utilizes Maps, users will have the option of viewing the map in Standard View, Satellite View or a Hybrid of both.

Ratings and reviews

It's very awkward to control the view. it keeps snapping to a zoom view. It also won't pause when the vehicle stops for a period of time, so you have to watch the time because it just jumps ahead and keeps going and try to pause manually. But if you miss a stop, it's nearly impossible to scroll back accurately. It's just a bad app. it technically does the trick, but just really poor usability.

After having the device for 6 months, the charging port is unstable. I have to insert the charge, wiggle it around, and hope it starts charging. So then I test run the device, and it works great. When I actually need the device to work, the device won't sync with the location! I can't even find it at this point. On a positive note, it worked great at first.

It worked for a week. Then my app could no longer be accessed. When I reloaded the app, the Tracker would not display on the opening window. When trying to reset the Tracker, it shows it is already activated. Called Support and all I get is a voice mail saying to call during working hours. No idea when working hours are as I've called all times day, afternoon, & evening. My suggestion is look for another tracker as this isn't worth the money!
