About this game

Zen Koi 2 is a sequel to the mesmerising collection game Zen Koi that follows the Asian myth about Koi ascending into Dragons. Developed by LandShark Games, Zen Koi 2 is a free-to-play mobile game that offers an enhanced experience with new features built on the well-loved core gameplay of languid action and strategic collection. Featuring the new Dragon Realm and My Pond, you can now play with your ascended Dragon and decorate your own pond!

Notes on Permissions required:
Zen Koi 2 is free to download and play. However, optional items are available via In-App Purchase within the game to expand upon your gameplay experience.

Zen Koi 2 gives away free pearls when you watch video ads. On some devices, those ads need to be stored temporarily on the external memory card. For that to work, please allow Zen Koi 2 permission to 'access photos, media and files'.

I love this game. The extras they've added are great! The prey is a bit more challenging & I enjoy decorating my own pond. My only issue is the Daily Challenge has "gift or get koi from a friend" way too often. I have no friends, & it seems the only way to get them is on Facebook. I don't want to play on Facebook. I've gotten tired of needing friends for game play, and don't want to do that again. I would love to see different challenges.

I've been playing this nearly every day for years. It definitely takes patience: it's not a dopamine treadmill, which I like about it. It's peaceful. I like to play with the music off while listening to lectures because it gives my hands something to do and helps retain the material. Many of the koi patterns and palettes are visually interesting. There's a Discord for trading. $2=no ads, unless you choose to watch them. It is possible to play well without further purchases, if you strategize.

Pretty game, simple, but repetitive! You can't save all the fish you want, and ascension takes FOREVER of doing the same 8 rounds of missions for each fish. And good luck finding the pond symbol when you get to the higher levels, there's no map, but there should be! The tutorial fish is NOT how the rest level, its grueling and repetitive. If you like grinding games look no further. This game was posted as stress relieving? Maybe to some, but for me this game got frustrating!
