Picofon is an educational application designed to support the development of phonological awareness in children aged 3 to 7 through interactive activities and play-based learning experiences.
The application is part of a project developed by the Cognition and Language Research Group (GRECIL), affiliated with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), with the support of Xarxa TECSAM and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona.
Picofon enables teachers, specialist professionals, and families to assign activities adapted to each child’s needs and monitor their progress.
