About this game

Build a maths crossword and challenge a friend. Mentamic is a strategy game for one or two players: create intersecting equations and compete for points.

Place numbers, operators, equals signs and parentheses on a 9×9 board. Build valid equations, find useful intersections and make each move count. Combine mental arithmetic with tactical thinking

Play solo, challenge friends or meet random opponents. Games are turn-based: choose from 10 minutes to 3 days of thinking time per move and return to ongoing games later.

In Mentamic, you can:
• Invite friends with a link, SMS or email
• Find and add other players
• Chat with your opponent
• Track your Elo rating and solo high scores
• Use +, −, ×, ÷, powers and nth roots
