Fall asleep on the bus. Lose track on the train. RouteWake watches the distance to your stop and wakes you before you get there — so you can stop checking the window every five minutes.

Set where you're going, choose how early you want waking, and put your phone away.


CHOOSE A DESTINATION, ANY WAY YOU LIKE

Type a place name and pick from the suggestions as you type. Or open the map, tap to drop a pin, and drag it until it sits exactly where you want. Anywhere you can point at, you can be woken at — no address needed.


DECIDE HOW EARLY YOU WANT WAKING

Set an alert radius anywhere from 100 metres to 5 kilometres. Wake right at the door, or far enough out to gather your things and reach the exit before the doors open.


AN ALARM YOU WON'T SLEEP THROUGH

Sound and vibration, with an escalating alert if you don't respond to the first one. Choose your alarm tone, and turn on a shake-to-dismiss challenge if you're the sort who silences alarms in your sleep.


SCHEDULED JOURNEYS FOR THE TRIP YOU ALWAYS MAKE

Travelling the same route every weekday? Set it once — destination, time, and which days — and RouteWake takes care of the rest.

At the time you chose, it rings like a proper alarm rather than a notification you'd sleep through, with two answers: start tracking, or not today. Skipping a day leaves the schedule armed for tomorrow.

Your switched-on schedules appear on the home screen with a countdown to the next one. Tap any of them to see the destination on the map with how far away it is right now, roughly how long the journey takes, and what time you'd arrive if you left this minute.


LIVE TRACKING WHILE YOU TRAVEL

Watch the distance count down on the map, with your alert radius drawn around the destination, plus your current speed and estimated time of arrival. RouteWake keeps running with the screen locked and the app in your pocket — where a destination alarm actually needs to work.


SAVE THE PLACES YOU GO BACK TO

Bookmark the stops you use often and pick them again in one tap. Recent destinations are kept too, so the trip you made yesterday is never more than a tap away.


MAKE IT YOURS

Add your name and a profile photo, and RouteWake will greet you by name — and wish you a happy birthday. Choose your alarm sound, default radius, vibration and interface sounds in Settings.


YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

No account. No sign-up. No password. Your destinations, saved places and profile are stored on your device and are never sent to a server we run. Your GPS location is used only to work out how far you are from the destination you chose, and it never leaves your phone.

RouteWake is free, and ads are what keep it that way. The advertising is provided by Google AdMob, which collects a limited amount of data of its own — that's set out plainly in our privacy policy. If you're in the UK or EU you'll be asked for consent first, and you can change your mind any time from Settings.
