LAS Maths Game

Learning Anything Strat

About this game

Blast off with LAS Maths Game - a space-race board game where every planet you land on is a times table challenge!

Roll the dice, fly your ship along the track and answer multiplication questions to keep your fuel tank full. Get it right and you refuel. Get it wrong and you burn fuel. Run dry and you drift back to the start! Learners practise their times tables without even noticing, because they are too busy racing.

HOW IT WORKS
* Roll the dice and race your ship around the board
* Land on a planet and answer a multiplication question
* Correct answers refuel your ship and earn credits
* Watch out for fuel leaks, and look for boosts like Jump Ahead and Space Warp
* Be first to the finish line to win

SIX STAR SYSTEMS
Each star system focuses on different times tables, so players build confidence step by step:
* The Kestrel System - the 2s and 3s
* The Nyxara System - the 4s and 5s
* The Solenne System - the 6s and 7s
* The Vantar System - the 8s and 9s
* The Pyrion System - the 10s and 11s
* The Halcyon System - mixed tables up to 12 x 12

LEARN THE LANGUAGE OF MATHS
Random "fuel-check" questions cover multiplication vocabulary such as product, factor, multiple and repeated addition, so players understand the maths as well as the answers.

PLAY WITH COMPUTER RIVALS OR REAL FRIENDS
* Race friendly computer pilots: Nexa, Ezi, Clara and Leo
* Play online with a friend using a share code or room code
* Add friends and send race invites
* Get matched with another player

COLLECT YOUR SHIP
Earn credits for correct answers and spend them in the Space Dock on a fleet of 13 ships, each with its own look and engine flames.

EASY TO START
A short guided tutorial with Bolt, your co-pilot, shows new players how to play in a couple of minutes. The game is played in landscape mode.

GREAT FOR
* Children learning or revising their times tables
* Classroom and homework practice
* Parents who want screen time that builds real skills

The first star system is free to play. Further star systems require a LAS Maths Game subscription, which is purchased outside the app. An account is needed for online play, friends and saving progress.
