Let your loved ones know where you are when your phone's battery is about to die.
LastDrop monitors your battery level in the background. When the battery drops below a level you set, it automatically sends your last location via SMS to the people you've selected, along with a Google Maps link. Knowing your last location before the phone shut off makes it easier to find a lost child, a stranded relative, or a friend who's lost contact while hiking.
HOW IT WORKS
• Threshold alert: Notifies you once when the battery drops to 15% (or your chosen value). • Gradual alert: Sends your location again at each level, such as 20%, 10%, 5%, etc. • Smart repeat prevention: Doesn't send the same alert repeatedly even if the battery fluctuates between 15% and 16%. Alerts are reset when you charge your phone.
EMERGENCY BUTTON
• Red "EMERGENCY" widget and in-app button that you can add to your home screen. • When you tap the home screen widget, a 10-second countdown starts on the widget before the app opens; Cancel with ✕ if you accidentally pressed it. • The in-app button has a 5-second, cancelable countdown. • Write your own message or use a pre-made one; you choose who it will go to. • Your current location and battery level are sent with the message.
FOR FAMILIES
• Parent pairing: Create a code on your child's phone, enter it into your own phone; see their battery, last location, and alerts from your own phone. • Add the parent as an emergency contact; alerts will come directly to their phone via SMS.
SAFE WITH YOUR ACCOUNT
• Log in with Google or email; your contacts and settings will come with you when you change phones. • The account is active on only one phone at a time; the old phone will automatically stop.
