Last Shelf is a Japanese convenience store simulator. You're a salesperson: neither a hero nor a detective. Customers come in, pick up items, and join the line. You scan purchases, replenish empty shelves and refrigerators, and take cigarettes from the register if they're ordered.
Daytime is from 7:00 AM to midnight. Nighttime is from midnight to 7:00 AM. The work is the same, except for different lighting and double pay at night. Cash and the shift counter are only credited to your account if you complete your shift.
You're paid a percentage of the receipt for revenue, a smaller percentage for display, and an hourly rate for each in-game hour. At the end of your shift, you receive a payroll: sales, display, hours, and fines.
Customers navigate the store themselves. You can't leave the line: on Easy, Hard, and Super Hard difficulty, people leave, and the cart amount becomes a fine for everyone on the shift. On Easy, you can't leave the line.
Difficulty level in the menu: easy, simple, hard, super hard. In a room with a friend, the host sets the difficulty.
You can play with two or three players over a single Wi-Fi connection. The host creates the room, and everyone else logs in by name. The cash register and fines are shared. A shift cannot be started until someone logs in.
Your account, cashier skins, yen, and number of shifts are saved—you can continue playing on another device.
