Latest Sightings is an app where visitors to the Kruger National Park, soon Pilanesberg, can share their wildlife sightings, in real time, with other visitors in the game reserve and also to users world wide.
The app is a service to visitors on safari. This utility app notifies you of sightings in your area, so that you can go and check them out for yourself in real life.

The new version works great on all my devices, plus I get alerts of sightings without missing a single one. The map accuracy is great and I'm able to get directions to a sighting by following the link on the maps page!! So easy to use and hasn't crashed once so far. Light on data and doesn't even cause my phone to overheat like other apps do. Definitely a vast improvement over the previous versions!!

Easy to put in animal spots and you can separate the feeds from the different parks. Just what is needed. I don't seem to be able to move the location from my current position to where I was when it was spotted. Not sure if this is me or a design limitation. Without data in the parks limited in usefulness but fun to see.

We have purposefully limited the ability to move one's location on the map, so that we can make sure that only people inside the park post sightings. It helps make sure all the sightings are legit. Hopefully, the signal will improve so that the app is even more useful in the future! :)

This is the most profoundly phenomenal application. It is so useful in the Kruger National Park and everyone who decides to travel there should have this app. If you want to see the best sightings, this is the only app you need to do so. I saw 7 leopards in one day with the assistance of Latest Sightings. What a life changing experience
