Launch Circle helps Android developers organize voluntary app testing and collect useful feedback for Google Play closed testing.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add your app using its Google Play store or test link, a name and a few clear test steps. No Developer Account ID needs to be typed.
2. Configure test access in your app's Play Console using the Google Group shown in Launch Circle.
3. Join your automatically matched App Group and review the other members' apps. No invitation code is needed.
4. Open Tests, join the relevant Google Group and Google Play test when required, install the app and try its requested workflow.
5. Submit real results, problems and suggestions. Review feedback for your own app in My Launch.
APP GROUPS
Each group has up to 15 developer slots. Full groups stop accepting matches; leaving releases a slot. A group still forming does not mean your app already has 12 testers. Ordinary accounts can register one app.
EASIER TO GET STARTED
A six-page walkthrough explains setup, testing and feedback. Reopen Guide from the top bar whenever you need help. App icons can be imported from Google Play where available or uploaded by the owner. Clear navigation and completed-task states help prevent duplicate submissions.
KEEP YOUR APP CURRENT
When a newer version is required, update before continuing. An internet connection is needed to check the current version and use online testing features.
IMPORTANT
Joining an App Group does not automatically enroll you in a Google Play test or install another app. Complete these steps using the same Google account and confirm only actions you actually performed.
Platform activity, group occupancy and task counts do not establish Google Play testing eligibility. Check your app's requirements and status in Play Console. App ownership may require verification before registration.
Launch Circle is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Google Play. It does not guarantee tester participation, a fixed number of qualified testers or production approval. Google determines eligibility and approval through its own policies and review process.
