About this app
DoggoWalk helps you build a dog walking routine for yourself and your dog that will keep you and your dog healthier and happier!
You just need to select the Settings on the bottom navigation menu and then select either default mode ( morning walk at 7:10 am and evening walk at 6:10 pm) or custom mode and choose a time that suits you most. Please do not forget that it is important to build a walking routine with your dog by having regular walks with it at least twice a day!
You may use our new Calendar from Calender menu!
You will enjoy a house with a healthier and happier dog!
You may assess your dog’s walk by selecting the Daily Walk from the bottom navigation menu and after you select your current dog’s walk duration then you may rate from minimum 1 to maximum 10 your dog’s performance during the walk by answering the positive criteria questions listed in the quiz. Please click Next button to see another question from the quiz – you have several seconds until the Next button is active again – please answer the question by rating below with Plus or Minus button. Then you may see your current result by pressing the Check your result button. You may also see your scoreboard by clicking View your scoreboard button.
If your dog’s performance is outstanding you may also receive a special prize cup.
You may add your dog’s birthday in your Google calendar by clicking Add your dog’s birthday button to open the calendar view to select the date which to add by yourself in your calendar.
Have a look at our tips by clicking Read me from the Settings menu and then scrolling to the Tips button.
You may choose a photo of your dog by clicking "Click to add image" picture on the Settings menu or by pressing the dog's image on the main screen and then click the "Click to add image" picture. After you choose a favourite photo of your dog, please click the save button and that is all - after a while you will see it every time when you start the application. Please provide your permission to access your storage for this purpose. You may press Restore default image button if you like to restore the original image of the application.
N.B. If you would like this application to work properly for you, please open it at least once per day! If you are a user of a device with Android 13 ("TIRAMISU") or above , please allow exact alarm and notification permissions for this application in order to be able to assist you as described above. Please read our Privacy Policy and our License contained therein on the Google Play Store before downloading this application.
Troubleshooting:
Please note that you should see always ( or most of the time) a notification from your reminder with the following text: Thank you for activating your DoggoWalk reminder in case of default mode activation or Thank you for activating your custom DoggoWalk reminder in case of custom mode activation.
If the problem persists please press Battery optimization button and make sure that your DogoWalk is not optimized - in case you do not see it in the list please select all applications and then uncheck optimization for your DoggoWalk. You may also click Battery Settings button there to ensure that this application is background allowed and not battery optimized by various phone manufacturers proprietary battery rules.You may also click Battery Settings button there to ensure that this application is background allowed and not battery optimized by various phone manufacturers proprietary battery rules. If you are a user of a device with Android 14 and you decide to add your dog's photo, please select "always allow all" access to your photos in the dialog window in order not to be asked for this permission every time and to be able easier to re-select another photo of your dog.
