I've used this app with my brake controller for several years, without any issue. now comes an update that causes the Bluetooth connection to fail when my phone is too far away. EACH time I have to remove the device, add it, and enter the pin. unacceptable. absolutely garbage products from the IT department. I have tried all the steps including another device, with the same results.

While the app is running, it blocks all forms of communication. Incoming calls, outgoing calls, texts, and more. It's like the app puts your phone in airplane mode. Note: This happens even if you minimize the app. You have to fully close out of the app to make a call. This is a massive safety concern if an emergency were to arise.

I cant connect to my inline ECHO® IN-LINE TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER. It wont find the device. I had no problems with the old app last year. I had 6 trips with new trailer last year. I couldn't use the app this year with the first trip. Had to drive without it. June 7th After latest update I was able to find my device, pair it, and load my old profile. I will be ready to drive for my next trip.
