You're the team boss.
Grand Tours, stage races and the classics, all year round. And when the road goes quiet, it carries on in the mud: a whole winter of cyclocross, with the cross riders in a game of their own. Your riders, your budget, and points at every finish. Build your team, line up the right riders and keep your friends behind you in the standings.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Build your team
A team of riders within your budget, with no more than a handful from the same real team. Go for the top favourites and there's less left for the rest. Somewhere you'll have to make a call.
2. Line up for every stage or race
Twelve riders at the start on the road, eight in the mud. The rest wait in the Team car. One of them is your Patron, and he earns extra points when he finishes up front.
3. Name your Lieutenant
Before each stage or race you pick one more rider. Finish second or third and it earns bonus points. Win, and it earns nothing, while every other place costs you points. Read the finish right and you're rewarded.
4. Points and transfers
Every finish earns points, exactly as in real life. Not working out? Make transfers between stages or races, within that same budget.
WHAT'S THERE TO WIN?
After every race the bottles are handed out. A bottle you earn stays with your name for good, in every standing and every race that follows, so other racing fans can see how well you read a race. A cyclocross season has no mountain or sprint stages, but four classifications across the races, each with a bottle of its own.
RIDE IN YOUR OWN ECHELON
In a crosswind the peloton splits into diagonal lines. Those who make it ride in the shelter of the rider ahead and take their turn on the front. Miss the move and you're alone in the wind for the rest of the day.
An echelon in Lead-out League works the same way: a small group of friends or colleagues following the same race and keeping each other sharp, day after day. Create one, share your six-character code, and your group gets its own standings next to the overall rankings.
FREE, WITH NOTHING TO BUY
Taking part is free. No ads, no in-app purchases, nothing behind a paywall. Your team is ready in five minutes. The race decides the rest.
