If this app had a 30-day trial, or a limit of a few hundred words worth of exercises before showing ads, I would consider paying for it. The problem is that it has full screen video ads that you can't click out of. When I get ads like that in an app I just delete the app automatically. I would encourage the developers to try a more creative method of marketing their app. Memrisee and Duolingo offer a lot of value for free before you have to pay for it.

I like the approach, however it feels inconsistent. The words you learn are random and aren't given any context. The pictures that help you learn the words (there isn't one for every word) seem out of place with each other. The ads that pop up after every two rounds can be annoying, especially since there are already ads at the bottom the screen. And lastly, I have no idea what the points system is for, except for unlocking lists of more words. I wish I would have enjoyed it more.

Not worth the $2.99. It seemed great at first, until I realized that it doesn't have many important features. There is no "shuffle" for the vocabulary, the words are in the same order every time which is really monotonous. And there isn't even a quiz/flashcard/practice tool for the phrase lists! Disappointing. Otherwise, it's very well designed and rarely crashes.
