Look , your app may be nice and all, but to learn Chinese, you Must learn how to pronounce each word and phrase. To learn and to understand it, before you just jump right in and try to read and understand All of the Chinese Characters. Pinyin is much better way and means for learning to speak this wonderful language. To Show a picture of some item and then chose the name is chinese characters is good fir advanced learners. Not fir just starting out.

There are some useful things in the app for an adult, but the games is terrible. There is no sound hint to help guess what some of the wierd fotos mean. Then when you guess wrong they put you down and say your Chinese is very bad, try harder. And this is supposed to be for kids to motivate them? I would never recommended this for a child.

This app is simple to follow and free with ads. As a Chinese teacher of 10 years, I saw lots of words that are wrong or uncommon in real life conversation. For example, under adjectives, the Chinese word for intelligent is 智能 instead of 聪明. Fat used 脂肪 instead of 胖. Poor and rich you used 较差的 and 丰富 instead of 穷 and 富/有钱。On the same page, the pronunciation for 假(false) is jia4 instead of jia3.
