🟡Earn coins by doing short quizzes as the story unfolds. Can you collect enough coins to make it until the final level?

If you've never used stories to learn German before, this app is the perfect way to get you started!

Learning German with stories can be a great way to expand your vocabulary, boost your passive grammar skills and get a general feel for the language, all while enjoying a (hopefully) entertaining story.

But how does it work?

First of all, by reading stories you get context for each new word. And it’s precisely that context which helps you acquire new German words faster by understanding them in relation to other words, because you can guess more easily what they mean.

Furthermore, with the help of German short stories you can see grammar mechanics in action, recognize patterns and become much more familiar with the most common ones than you ever would from learning conjugation and declension tables by heart.

What are you waiting for? Download this German story now and start learning in bite-sized bits with this mini story for your pocket.

Learning German has never been more fun.

This app does not depend on any external online resources and can even be enjoyed without internet access.

The only story is interesting and you can click on some of the keywords to see the English meaning if you don't understand, which is very helpful. There are also comprehension questions, which help make sure you do understand what's going on. However, it is only one story. Trying to go back or navigate to a previous page and the fisrt page to read/listen to it again is a pain, and the auto play is bugged, as Sarah's messages are played before his friend's finishes.

Thanks for the feedback! At this point the best way to replay the story is to force-stop and re-launch with "Restart" option. We'll look into the auto play bug. Thanks for reporting.

The concept of the app and the content is brilliant and draws you into the story. The limitation is that there is only one story and once you have been through it several times there is no point in reading it again. If further conversations were added with increasing complexity of vocabulary and language this would be a great learning resource.

I am loving this app! A BRILLIANT concept. It gives you the perfect amount to read and comprehend and helps with any words that you may not yet know. It then goes that one step further and makes sure you have understood the text with a few comprehension questions. With the smaller "bite sized" pieces of text to try to figure out, it feels more manageable, and less overwhelming, than to sit down and try to tackle a book. I highly recommend anything by this author as he makes quality content that helps anyone trying to learn the German language. His books are fun, his website is phenomenal and now he adds another tool to the mix by having an interactive app that can help you cruise through your learning experience with ease. Learning a language can become frustrating at times and seem almost impossible. You may even decide you want to throw in the towel and quit but Mr. Klein expertly distracts the learner by making the process of language acquisition fun and interesting. As I have already said, I highly recommend ANYTHING this man authors.
