About this app

The OET tests English the way healthcare actually uses it: taking notes in a consultation, reading a hospital policy, writing a referral and talking with a worried patient. Nurses and doctors who pass it are rarely the ones with the biggest vocabulary; they know what each sub-test is looking for. This OET practice app builds that, for both nursing and medicine.

Writing Letters That Score
Twenty letter tasks, ten for nursing and ten for medicine, come with case notes and model letters. Lessons show how to pick the relevant information, keep the right tone and organise a referral or discharge letter.

Speaking Role-Plays
Twenty-four role-play cards, twelve per profession, let you practise building rapport, gathering information and explaining clearly to patients and relatives.
