LeaveWeb Mobile will provide USAF with a user-friendly way to submit and review active duty Air and Space Force military leave requests utilizing Okta Authentication. Okta for USAF is a purpose-built Identity platform for the DoD and its mission partners. Okta’s achievement of an Impact Level 4 (IL4) conditional Provisional Authorization (PA) provides a next-generation security architecture that centralizes and secures access to mission-relevant resources for approved users – anywhere, anytime.
The LeaveWeb Mobile App provides the following features:
The leave member can submit leave for themselves, but there is no ability to submit leave on behalf of another in mobile.
Leave submittal through return on leave types A, R&R, D, F, P, and T with upload ability. Approve Leave Inboxes and Authorize Leave Inboxes will be included.
Note: All attachments included will have to be viewed and downloaded
from the website, including the AF988s.
Simple profile information will be included along with ALL Open Leaves and 2 years of Leave History (2 years past from current date) with the ability to Copy Request.
Note: Leave can only be submitted 2 years in the past and 2 years in
advance from current date in mobile. If there is a need to submit leaves
outside this window, they will need to be submitted in the website.
Inactivated leave types E and H can continue through approvals on mobile but are not submittable since they have been inactivated.
T type leave and Rule 51 can continue through the approvals on mobile but cannot be created in mobile due to one-time allowance in a member’s career and up to 14 days. This checking control is only maintained in the website.
R type leave can continue through the approvals on mobile but cannot be created in mobile since there is no ability to submit leave on behalf of another.
Types B, M and Y will be trackable but no ability to work them in mobile as these types are managed by AFFSC/Base FM.
Copy Request and Edit Request will not be available for these leave types (E, H, R, B, M, Y and T/Rule51) in mobile.
Any actions taken in mobile will have (-mobile) appended on the action and able to track within the website.
There is no reporting, Leave Audits or administrative pieces in mobile.
