Read, understand, and pray with the Word each day.
LectioDive brings Catholic daily readings together with five Bible editions and a two-level study companion: Foundations for those new to Scripture, and Deep Dive for readers exploring the Church Fathers, typology, and original languages.
• Read the Douay-Rheims Bible, New Living Translation Catholic Edition (NLT-CE), Good News Translation (GNT), French Crampon, and Italian Martini
• Douay-Rheims, Crampon, and Martini are included for offline reading. NLT-CE and GNT can be read online or downloaded; licensed downloads need an internet refresh within 30 days
• Choose the current Roman calendar (General or United States), the Roman Missal of 1962, the US Ordinariate, Byzantine Catholic Pittsburgh, Maronite calendars for the United States or Australia, or the Syro-Malabar calendar. Available dates vary by calendar and are shown in Settings
• Pray with daily readings, lectio divina, reflection questions, and guides matched to the selected calendar and service
• Choose a Bible translation for the reader and for daily passages with verified reference mappings. Where a passage cannot be mapped reliably, its original edition remains clearly identified
• Explore Foundations and Deep Dive, with Church Fathers quotations and labeled paraphrases, definitions, background, and Bible sources that open directly in the reader
• Discover passages from Scripture, Church Fathers, councils, popes, saints, and older catechisms, with a labeled explanation on the back
• Keep a private journal, save verses, and build a daily reading habit
• Walk a virtual pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago, Via Francigena, Holy Land, or Marian shrines. Pass waypoint quizzes, collect stamps, celebrate the final checkpoint, and choose your next journey
Study content and Discover explanations are generated with Magisterium AI, which draws on the Church's own documents. They are offered as study aids, not official Church teaching or a substitute for your pastor. AI content is labeled and has a "Report an issue" link. Bible text and source quotations remain attributed to their editions.
Reading is free, needs no account, and has no ads. Sign in to save your private journal and sync hearts and your reading streak. Chapter studies and audio use the editions identified in the app.
Reading NLT-CE or GNT sends Scripture usage reports to API.Bible using random device and session identifiers. Account details and journal content are not sent. See our Privacy Policy for details.
