1- Phonemic awareness
2- Linguistic balance
3- Reading comprehension

The concept of cross sectional reading
This method is considered an intermediate between the partial and the total methods. Where it tries to teach the learners and learners to read by presenting language units greater than the linguistic sound (letter), but less than the word, and their origins are based on word syllables, and they are considered linguistic units. Because the words in Arabic - in most cases - consist of two syllables or more, and this method is called syllabic because the educated and the educated learn a set of syllables, and then synthesize words from these syllables; Therefore, it can be considered a synthetic-analytical method

Cross-sectional reading relies on several central concepts, among which the professor's guide mentioned the following:
1- Phonemic awareness: the realization that the spoken word is a series of small phonemic units, silences and sounds.
2- Spelling phoneme: the ability to connect the phonemic unit in its linear form between the spoken and written (Rahma / Rahmat. Bastah / Bastah)
3- Vocabulary development: any skill aimed at developing the mental lexicon of the learner and the learner through knowledge of new words.
4- Reading comprehension: meaning making the learner and the learner able to understand the meanings of the text and assimilate it.
