Tried to connect to the SL2 dozens of times and it simply does not work. Stuck on a connection loop that crashes the app. Can't do anything. For such expensive gear, a functional app is a no-brainer especially since Panasonic has such a fantastic app that never crashes and connects in seconds. Please read all the negative reviews and address the issues.

Unable to connect with a M10D. I keep getting the message to update the camera firmware and no instructions in how to do that for this camera. I have tried Android and iOS devices and keep getting the same message. I have contacted the developers through the app as others have been instructed to do and the only message I am receiving back is that we will contact you when we hear from the app developers. Very disappointing. 2 weeks after buying the camera I was given a firmware update and with some fiddling I was able to connect to my Samsung S9. So I find the app easy to use and very useful.

REVISED REVIEW: Thanks for nothing, Leica. I'd say it was a great idea finally giving away the uncrippled app for free but this proves that anything free is worth exactly what you pay for it. What a horribly useless app. No zoom control for the D-Lux? Really? This brain damaged app is useless. Image Shuttle was MUCH better. Good thing I still have Image Shuttle on my phone. PRO features? How is it that the current Panasonic Lumix app has all the controls that Image Shuttle had? Get a clue, Leica.
