Lensor translates subtitles while you watch on Android TV. Pair your console on the same local network, choose your translation language, and start Lensor when you need it. Lensor reads the subtitle area from a temporary console video stream and displays translated text over the TV picture. It does not record HDMI input or save video.
On-device text recognition and translation are the default. Language models may require an initial download. You can optionally select DeepL, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud translation with your own API key. If you select a cloud provider, recognized subtitle text is sent to that provider; video frames are not sent.
A compatible console, console account, initial pairing, supported Android TV device, and local network are required. Subtitle detection depends on the source content, language, and device; some lines may not be recognized. Lensor is an independent accessibility tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
