About this app

Geotag Video is a simple tool for recording field surveys as accurate GPS tracks.

Log in with your account, enter a session name and region details, and start recording while you walk or drive. The app captures your route as a list of precise GPS points and saves each survey as a session with its own metadata. You can manage your sessions on the device, upload them to a Supabase backend, or export them as JSON text files for further analysis and reporting.

MAIN FEATURES
- Foreground GPS tracking
Start a recording video and capture latitude, longitude, accuracy, and timestamps while you move.

- Structured survey metadata
Label each survey with a name and region details such as block, ring, and child ring.

- Session list and management
View all recorded sessions, filter by name or date, see how many are pending upload, and edit or delete them as needed.

- Upload to backend
Upload selected sessions to a Supabase backend, where GPS tracks and survey records are stored for analysis or integration with other systems.

Video or JSON text file can share it via email, messaging, or your preferred storage service.

PRIVACY AND DATA
- Location data is collected only while recording is active, to build your survey track.
- Sessions and tracks are stored on your device and uploaded to the backend only when you choose.
