What is a power of attorney?
It's a private document in which one person (the principal) authorizes another (the attorney-in-fact) to act on their behalf in a specific matter. It is signed by both parties before two witnesses and submitted with copies of their identification. In other countries, it is also known as a simple power of attorney or letter of authorization.

What this app doesn't do
It doesn't generate a notarized power of attorney or a general power of attorney: those are granted by a notary. To sell or buy property, for large sums of money, or for acts that the law requires in a public deed, you must consult one. Some agencies require signature verification; ask at the service window before going.

Your data
With the standard format, nothing is sent. If you choose the AI-powered drafting option, the form data is sent to our server and from there to DeepSeek, which writes the text; we don't store it on our servers, and the app asks for your consent before the first time. Your letters are saved on your own phone.
