Ads are auto-opening without clicking on them or something??? I keep getting pulled onto websites, which ends up making the app feel like malware. Ads are causing the whole app to load improperly. I think they just have to go through recent new advertisers or see if its an issue of compatibility with the new UI. I cant quit you, though, letterboxd. I want you to come back from this dark time.

Great app overall, but this new practice of very intrusive ads is obnoxious as hell. It literally opens up web pages without you touching anything on the screen. I'll be in the middle of reading something and an aliexpress site will just start loading into my app. This is without touching or clicking on anything at all. Shame on Letterboxd for this practice. If it doesn't soon change I'm done with this thing. I get you need ads for the free subscriptions, but just have ads, don't do this.

Used to be one of the best apps out there and now is pretty much unusable on an android device, you can barely finish writing a review without it crashing and I can't count the number of error messages I've had whilst trying to look up a film in the last week alone. The changes to the UI make little sense and have ended up worsening the user experience and just making the overall appearance far clunkier. If it ain't broke, don't fix it - and the original app was far from broke.
