Ratings and reviews

The app has been very buggy lately. I use an android and it's not responsive to touch unless I close the app and reopen it, sometimes I have to reopen it 3-4 times to get it to work. And lately it's been taking me out of the app and onto Amazon for some deal I've "won". I really really like this app but it's been very annoying the past few weeks. I hope it can get fixed soon so I can keep on the letterboxd grind 💪 💪💪

I don't know what happened in the last update or two, but the app frequently refuses to respond to touch, type, or really any input at all pretty frequently. Sometimes it's resolved by closing the app and reopening, or clearing app data, but it always comes back and literally destroys all functionality in the app. Pixel 7 Pro, Android 14

I do love Letterboxd and talking film in general. This app *has* been serviceable, but it has lately been auto-opening scam Amazon links claiming I "just won a free iPad!" Let me reiterate it opens the ads by itself, I am not clicking on ads. It happens at any time on the app, whether reading reviews or selecting movies. I'm sure Letterboxd doesn't mind; it may incentivize people to buy their overpriced premium subscriptions. Letterboxd, fix your app.
