About this game

Ice Fishing is a pixel-art endless runner set deep inside a tropical forest. Your explorer keeps moving forward as the jungle becomes increasingly dangerous, filling the path with thorny plants, fallen trunks, coral snakes, hornet nests, and piranha-filled gaps.

Controls are simple and designed around quick reactions. Tap to jump, hold to slide, or hold while airborne to dive quickly toward the ground. Each of the five obstacle types requires a different response as the pace increases.

Collect fruit during each run to build a combo multiplier up to x4.0. Taking a hit breaks the chain, so keeping a clean route becomes increasingly valuable as your score grows.

Power-ups can help you travel farther. A Leaf Shield absorbs a hit, a Macaw Feather gives you a double jump, and a Spare Leaf restores a life.

The forest is divided into four distinct layers: forest floor, understory, canopy, and emergent layer. Every 500–800 meters, the palette, vegetation, and sky change as you move deeper into the expedition.

Reach 2,000 meters to complete a full expedition and receive a separate mark in your results.

Eight runners can be unlocked with collected fruit, including a tree frog, toucan, jaguar cub, sloth, scarlet macaw, poison dart frog, tapir, and golden howler. Some runners also require specific career achievements before they become available.

Every run is stored locally with your score, distance, collected fruit, forest layer, date, and selected runner. Use the record table to follow your previous expeditions and personal results.

The How to Play section includes a live demonstration where the game plays through its own mechanics. It also explains obstacles, power-ups, and the scoring system.

Ice Fishing features handcrafted pixel art with layered treetops, moving vines, light filtering through leaves, fireflies, and distinct environments for each forest layer.

The game works completely offline with no accounts or data collection. Your records and progression remain stored locally on your device.
