Asteroid Escape is a pure, unforgiving, endlessly replayable 2D arcade survival experience built from the ground up in Unity for mobile and desktop. One life. One finger. An infinite, ever-escalating asteroid field that wants you dead.
You are the last pilot in a collapsing sector of space. A catastrophic mining accident has turned an entire asteroid belt into a relentless storm of rock and debris hurtling straight toward you. There is no story mode, no levels to “beat,” no checkpoints — only raw skill, razor-sharp reflexes, and the burning question: how long can you survive?
Core Gameplay Loop
Drag your sleek interceptor anywhere on screen with buttery-smooth one-finger controls (large invisible touch collider makes pickup-and-play effortless, even on small phones).
Weave between hundreds of spinning asteroids that grow faster and deadlier every second.
Collect rare glowing Bonus Orbs that restore 25 health and award bonus points — but reaching them often means flying straight into danger.
Watch your health bar drain with every hit. When it hits zero, it’s Game Over. No revives, no ads to continue — just your final score and the challenge to beat it.
Intelligent & Fair Difficulty That Evolves With You
We spent months tuning the spawning system so the game is never cheap, but always punishing:
Smart “escape gap” logic guarantees there is always at least one safe path through the chaos — no impossible walls of death.
Anti-clustering prevents asteroids from stacking directly on top of each other too often.
Early-game gently teaches you the ropes; after ~50 points the game evolves:
Asteroids begin targeting near your current position (20 % player-aware spawns).
Random deadly clusters of 2-4 asteroids appear.
Periodic 5-second “surge waves” double the spawn rate and bonus appearance.
Global speed multiplier ramps forever (+0.1 every 5 seconds).
Three distinct asteroid classes:
Small (fast-spinning, low damage, high frequency)
Medium (moderate speed & damage)
Large (slow, screen-shaking beasts that deal massive 75 damage and have a 6-second global cooldown so they never spam)
