The screen-time fight nearly broke our evenings. So I built Pausely.
Hi — I'm Rae, the parent who made this app. Not a big company. Just someone who tried every screen-time tool out there and watched my kid fight, cry, or outsmart all of them. The "controls" felt like surveillance. The lockdowns felt like punishment. Nothing felt calm — and nothing actually stuck.
So I built the thing I actually wanted: a gentle, structured way to pause the screen that my kid would accept and that I could trust.

Pausely watches the clock, not your child. After about 20 minutes of screen time — the kind of regular pause eye-care experts recommend — it calmly takes over with a friendly full-screen break, led by Pip, a little robot who makes a pause feel like a reset, not a punishment.
