Loving it so far! However...a few quirks! For some reason, the Music tab (where you can find tracks to play along with and lesson videos from YouTube) is very finicky, and often does not load, or load fully. Keeps spinning and/or giving a message about not have internet, when I am clearly connected. Switching between Wi-Fi and LTE works sometimes, but not often. Not sure what the issue is, but downloaded on both the Samsung and Apple...same problem on both phones. Hope they figure out a fix soon

the blackstar beam solo and companion app are no joke amazing. I am very impressed with the UI, the ability to record right in the app, and the sounds are incredible especially the "in the room" part of cabrig. I play it every chance I get. I have experienced one issue though when recording via USB to my Google pixel 8 in the camera app with the external mic as the beam solo, I get random crackles in the recording. I reached out to blackstar on the issue but no solution yet.

Can't register an account or sign in on Android. Tried with Google sign in and with username/password. The app just sits there. If you can't sign in half of the app features are unavailable. Also some UI elements get hidden behind the Android navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen, meaning you can't interact with them. A smart amp lives or dies by the quality of the accompanying app. Just got the BEAM mini. So far a regrettable experience.
