License Plate Mania is the ad-free license plate game for road trips. Spot plates from all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico, score points, and turn any drive into a competition.

Play the classic license plate game with real tracking behind it. Every plate you spot is saved with when and where you found it, scored by distance from your starting state, and rolled into maps, stats, achievements, and a lifetime record you keep forever.

Does it work without internet? Yes. Games, maps, scoring, and plate tracking all work offline.
Can we play from different cars? Yes. Connected Multiplayer syncs live between players on their own devices.
How many plates can I track? 171 in total: all 50 states plus DC, 13 Canadian provinces and territories, 32 Mexican states, 68 tribal nations, and US territory, Government, and Diplomat plates.
Is it good for kids? Yes. No ads, no chat with strangers, and simple tap-to-add play.

Ratings and reviews

We used this app to track license plates on our most recent vacation to Alabama. It was awesome! It was easy to figure out, and we liked watching the map fill up with color with each state we found. We used the free version and were really happy with it. We used it as a group rather than individuals, but competing against each other could be fun too. It's way more fun than writing each state down or using a checklist like we used to. Highly recommended!

EDIT: it's been updated and works much better now! Thank you!! Right now I'm giving it a 1 because all of a sudden it just stopped letting me add states. It worked great until yesterday. I thought maybe I would trying paying for it and seeing if that would fix the problem but it didn't... so I will cancel and hopefully it will be fixed soon....

Just like a few others, it was good and then when I hadnt played in a while, it logged me out, and when I found another plate I needed, it asked for an update and all of a sudden my progress was gone and it would take me to a log in page but would keep coming back to it and the loading screen even when I thought I had logged in. It does this every time I find a state as well. I can't go back to my last map or log in correctly without the spinning wheel of doom popping up.
