PlotWalk is a GPS area measure app for land, fields, lots and yards. Tap the corners on the satellite map or walk the boundary with your phone, and PlotWalk shows the land area and perimeter as you go, in acres, hectares, square feet or square meters.
Measure land area on the map
• Tap the corners of a field, lot or yard on satellite imagery: the area and perimeter update with every point.
• Search an address or place to find the land first.
• Distance measure mode for a fence line, a road, a ditch or any path.
• Auto units: square feet or acres in the US, m² or hectares elsewhere, and every other unit one tap away.
Walk the boundary with GPS
• Walk around a field or property and PlotWalk records the line, with the GPS accuracy shown live.
• Stop at each corner and tap Corner: the GPS fixes are averaged and the sides come out straight.
• Walked a little inside or outside the real line? Enter how far, and PlotWalk moves the shape.
Acreage and fence calculator
• See the acreage and land area in any unit, with a ± estimate for walked fields.
• Fence calculator: fence length, posts at your spacing, gates and the total cost.
Save and share
• Save fields, sort them into folders and find them again on the map.
• Share a picture of the measurement.
• Your work is kept until you save or discard it.

• Unlimited saved fields (the free plan keeps 3).
• Keep recording a walk with the screen locked.
• PDF reports, KML for Google Earth, GeoJSON and CSV.
• Share images without the PlotWalk badge.
