Horrible and the iPhone version, Praetorian Guard, is worse. Doesn't stay connected so when someone rings the gate, if app isn't open and connected, you won't get the alert. You also have to be on the same network so if away from your house, its useless On iPhone, even when connected, it won't alert you when someone rings the gate. Amateur hour. DoorBird is much better.

When it works it's fine but that's very rare occurance. Despite updated cabling being supplied and fitted as per AES request, it regulary it takes over 1 minute to connect even on a stable WiFi and often it shows just a black screen and no ability to open the gate, over the last month I would say 90% of the time it's inoperable and means we get deliveries thrown over the gate which subsequently damages it as the packages are in the way when opened from the outside when you arrive.

WARNING BEFORE PURCHASING!!! Purchased an AES Gate controller configured via Ethernet hardline. The mobile app ruins the user experience and adds more headache than it's worth. No notifications when phone is silent. Connecting to the gate can take 30+ seconds. Motion sensor is useless (way too sensitive or not sensitive at all). Modifying settings is not very straightforward or intuitive. Cannot silence calls (aka, if you're in a meeting). I would avoid AES as much as possible.
