Now when you join Virgin Hotels loyalty & preferences program The Know, not only do you get a personalized stay, upgrades, and member only room rates, you now have exclusive access to our app Lucy. She connects your personal devices to your chamber controls and hotel staff and offers high-touch free features. Make requests, order room service, control the thermostat, lights, and the TV remote control with your device. Works in your chamber, in all dining areas, and even when you’re out on the town. Want to use your device as your key? Check in to your chamber? Not a problem, as a Know member you can check in prior to your arrival and unlock your chamber without using a physical key or having to stop by the front desk. And the perks keep coming when you sign up for Virgin Red the rewards club from Virgin. You can now earn Virgin Points by linking your Know profile to Virgin Red and staying at participating hotels. I'm updating my previously negative review and changing 1 star to 5. After an initial misalignment between work & personal email addresses, a fabulous employee at the Chicago location straightened everything out. The app works well - check in through the app was quick, and it was easy to manage all of the controls for the room through the app.

This app was clearly not tested properly. Trying to go through ID verification crashes the app. You are prompted to download the app while you are already in the app itself. This takes you to a website, then back to the play store, then back the the app in a pointless circle. Navigation is poor.
